The short answer

PVC is the best value and works with every phone. Metal makes the strongest first impression but costs more. Bamboo suits people who want a natural look. All three open the same profile page.

Tap reliability

PVC lets the chip work at full range. Metal blocks radio waves, so metal cards use a special chip and an insert; a good metal card works fine but needs the phone a little closer. Bamboo behaves like PVC.

Durability

PVC survives wallets and rain. Metal does not bend or fade. Bamboo is strong but should be kept dry and away from heat.

Printing and design

PVC allows full-colour printing on both sides. Metal is laser-engraved or printed in limited colours. Bamboo is laser-engraved, so designs are one colour.

Price

PVC is the cheapest at ₹249. Metal and bamboo cost ₹749 and up. For a team, many companies give PVC cards to everyone and metal to leadership.
