What you need
A blank NFC card or sticker (NTAG213 or NTAG216), a phone with NFC, and a free app such as NFC Tools, available on Android and iPhone.
Steps
1. Open NFC Tools and go to Write. 2. Tap Add a record, then URL / URI. 3. Paste your link, for example your Google review link. 4. Tap Write and hold the card to the back of your phone until it confirms. 5. Test it by tapping the card with another phone.
NTAG213 or NTAG216?
NTAG213 holds 144 bytes, enough for one normal web link. NTAG216 holds 888 bytes, enough for long links or a full contact card.
Can I rewrite it?
Yes, as many times as you like, unless you choose to lock it. Locking is permanent, so only lock when you are sure.
Prefer not to write it yourself?
Inditap cards come set up and linked to a page you can change from your phone, so you never need to rewrite the chip.
Questions people ask
Why is my phone not reading the card?
Check NFC is on (Android: Settings → Connected devices → NFC). On iPhone, unlock the phone and hold the card near the top back edge. Remove thick or metal phone cases.
